I'm a product designer from Wisconsin. Here's a small selection of some of the projects I've worked on.
Design should be empatheticEmpathy listens to the needs of humans. It puts you in the shoes of your users. It’s humbling. It often forces you to set aside your lofty visions and grounds you in reality. With out empathy designs cannot be intuitive to use., inclusiveInclusivity is about bringing people in. It means design should be accessible; it should try to work for everyone. It should be responsive and customizable—not “one size fits all”. Inclusive design amplifies conversation and shuns censorship., and sustainableSustainability in design is about respect—for people’s time, for ecology, and for future civilization. Design shouldn’t be wasteful. Every component within a product should serve a purpose. Design that is reusable within development (and for users) multiplies it’s own value..
Good process is cyclical.
